Preparing Your Christmas Hamper

Thank you so much for your incredible kindness! To help our volunteer team safely handle, store, and deliver your generous gifts, please follow these simple packing guidelines.

 Choosing the Right Bag

• Please use strong reusable bags – supermarket Christmas themed ones are perfect.
• Please do not use boxes - they are incredibly difficult to move around.
• Skip cardboard gift bags too - the Riverside Stadium gets damp and can result in torn cardboard.
• Keep bags lightweight and manageable - our volunteers thank you for saving their backs!

How Much to Pack

• Aim for one bag per family member.
• Feel free to add one extra bag.
• For a family of four, 4 or 5 bags is just right.

Donating as a Group and have spare items

• Ask us for another family!
• Or donate your extra items to our general pool - any surplus items help families nominated at the last minute.
